During his service, Advin participated in more than 500 missions, worked in military public affairs, and documented events at Saddam Hussein’s former palace, as well as a USAID humanitarian mission involving Samantha Power.

Quotes from creator :
“I often tell fellow veterans that the mission continues after we leave the military. For me, that means finding ways to serve one another in civilian life. I hope this story helps veterans feel seen and reminds them that they still have so much to give.
I funded the film with savings from my service in Iraq. I also chose to make it with an all-women crew because I wanted to create space for women to bring their voices and talents to this story. Both choices make this project deeply personal to me.”
“I am truly passionate about making an impact in the lives of our fellow veterans. Our mission continues through service, I hope to inspire our community to explore their creativity- it goes Beyond The Fight”.
